schedule shuffle and h1n1

Sorry I haven’t posted sooner today. The day started out ok, K was a little sick…but things were fine.

Went to work on the blue line, workout gear in hand…Pam took PG to daycare and then took K to the pediatrician. They tested her, and she has the h1n1 virus. Since she’s had symptoms since Thursday or so, it’s too late to give her Tamiflu. She was vaccinated last week, and the doctor seems to think it is helping ease her symptoms.

So Pam was given a prescription for Tamiflu for PG…we all got home about the same time.

I admit, I freaked a little when Pam told me. Technically K has an “underlying condition” with her heart issues when she was born. I worried that she’d go downhill…but really, she’s had for a few days and it appears mild. So I chilled out…

I emailed Coach Jen to see if we could shuffle the schedule. I chose to come home and not hit the gym. I plan to run tomorrow as planned, unless something drastic happens. I’m hoping I can get the gym workout in later this week.

Speaking f the gym, I got 2 calls the past 24 hours trying to set me up with a free personal trainer session. I don’t think I need it really, Coach Jen gives me my workout, I go do it.

Tomorrow I’ll update the weight loss progress…as it’s Weigh-in Wednesday (WiW)…and how the run went. I’ve also got an appointment with my doc at 9:45 to make sure I don’t have the bacon flu.

More soon…
